09:00	Pick-up from your hotel Depart Pakse by private minivan for Ban Saphai.
09:30 – 10:30	Done Kho Island Take a boat to Done Kho island Walk around the island and learn about the tranquility of Lao village life Observe weaving and related activities like dyeing and washing fabrics, mainly silk
10:30 – 11:00	Return to Ban Saphai to visit the handicraft center.
11:00 – 12:00	Wat Chompet & Stone Carving Village Visit the temple with the giant Buddha Walk through the stone carving village just outside of Wat Chompet Watch master carvers creating Buddha statues from small to very big size
12:00 – 12:30	Riverside Buddhist Temple Drive to a new local Buddhist temple under construction at the banks of the Mekong for a brief stop to admire the view of the river.
12:30 – 14:00	Lunch Lunch at "Rose in Love" restaurant at the southern outskirts of Pakse. This place has Lao, Thai and Korean specialties and offers a great view towards the Mekong and Phou Salao mountain on the opposite side.
14:00 – 15:00	Talad Daoheuang (New Market) Visit the biggest market in Southern Laos Encounter authentic Lao life - a local market, not a tourist market Explore different sections: food, fresh goods, live animals, garments, jewelry, electronics and more Optional: get a haircut, massage, or test your bargaining skills
15:00 – 16:00	Wat Phou Salao (Big Buddha) Drive across the Mekong on the Japanese-Lao friendship bridge to visit Wat Phou Salao and the big Buddha overlooking the Mekong and Pakse city on the other side of the river.
16:00 – 17:00	Chinese Temple & Sunset Drive to the Chinese temple at the Mekong to watch the sunset. Return to hotel. End of tour. Prices included Private minibus, English or French speaking guide, boat at Don Kho.
