The tour begins with breakfast at the Paradise View restaurant. Enjoy a hearty meal looking out over the river before heading out on the water. Vegetarians are welcome, with options available to suit your dietary preferences.

09.30 to 09.45: Safety Briefing
Receive a comprehensive safety briefing and basic paddling instructions from your professional guide. Learn the proper techniques to handle the water and get fitted with your life jacket and equipment.

09.45 to 11.00: Paddling the East Side & Minor Rapids
Paddle along the east side of Don Det, navigating between smaller islands to the north of Done Khone island. Master some exciting minor river rapids before stopping at Done Khone village for a 25 minute stroll. Cross over an old historic bridge to reach the beautiful Tad Etout waterfall.

11.00 to 11.40: Tad Etout Swimming & Relaxation
Arrive at Tad Etout, a perfect natural oasis. Spend your time swimming in the refreshing pools, jumping off the safe rock ledges, or simply relaxing on the shore while listening to the cascading water.

11.40 to 12.50: Walk & BBQ Lunch
Take a scenic 30 minute walk to reach our specialized outdoor BBQ setup. Enjoy a freshly prepared grilled lunch and spend 40 minutes savoring the local food and beautiful wilderness surroundings.

12.50 to 13.50: Paddling to Veun Kham & Border Transfer
Continue paddling downstream for another hour through beautiful river channels to reach Veun Kham village. Our private transport will be waiting at the riverbank to bring you to the Lao Cambodian border terminal. After completing immigration clearance, board a comfortable AVT minivan for your final journey to Stung Treng, arriving between 16.30 and 17.00.
