Day 1: Bolaven's Nature & Lifestyle Immersion
Departing from Pakse at 08:30 AM, we head up the slopes of the Bolaven Plateau. Our first stop is a specialized blacksmith village to see how multi-purpose knives are hand-forged using age-old ancestral techniques. We then tour organic coffee and tea plantations to learn how these valuable cash crops are grown, harvested, and dried. Next, experience the epic heights of Tad Fane Waterfall before taking a short hike to Tad Yeung Waterfall for a relaxing lunch and a swim.
In the afternoon, we dive into local trade at the bustling Paksong Market before arriving at our host village, home to the Mon-Khmer ethnic group. Learn about their unique language and culture before settling in for a traditional dinner and an evening homestay immersion.

Day 1 Night: Authentic Ethnic Village Homestay
Spend a memorable night inside a traditional Mon-Khmer community home. This gives you a rare opportunity to disconnect, learn about indigenous ways of living directly from your hosts, and experience authentic village routines after sunset in the crisp, cool highland climate.

Day 2: Jungle Trekking & Hidden Waterfalls
After breakfast with your host family, enjoy a morning walk to neighboring hamlets to observe how their custom traditions vary from low-land Lao communities. We drive out to our main trailhead to begin a guided 1.5-hour jungle trek. Follow winding wilderness paths through dense foliage, passing roaring mountain cascades and pristine valleys hidden deep within the plateau ecosystem.

Day 2: Ngae Ethnic Group & Return to Pakse
Our trek emerges at a traditional Ngae ethnic minority village. Spend time learning about their unique community structure, historical architecture, and woven textile crafts. After a hot lunch at a local village restaurant, we walk to one final scenic waterfall for photographs and a rest. Board your private transport in the late afternoon to arrive back at your Pakse accommodation by 17:00 PM.
