4000 ISLANDS Full day Tour
A full day exploration from Pakse to the beautiful 4000 Islands, featuring Liphi and Khonephapheng waterfalls.
Tour Schedule
08:00 am to 11:00 am: Departure and Boat Ride
You will leave the Pakse office at 08:00 am for a 2 hours driving on road No. 13 south to Nakasang pier. Once there you will take a long trail boat for a 25 minutes boat driving to Don Det and Don Khone Island.
08:00 am: Boat ride to the islands
11:00 am to 11:40 am: Liphi Waterfall
After the boat tour, you will go to visiting Liphi waterfall, which is a collection of the powerful water falls spilling down at different angles to join in a powerful flow. At the end of the main path, you can find a nice beach to swim.
11:00 am: Exploring Liphi waterfall
12:00 pm to 13:00 pm: Lunch at Senghaloun Restaurant
You will go to lunch at Senghaloun restaurant. After lunch we will take a long trail boat driving back to Nakasang village where the van is waiting for you.
12:00 pm: Riverside lunch break
13:30 pm to 15:30 pm: Khonephapheng Waterfall
Continue to the amazing and impressive Khonephapheng waterfall. In this destination Khonephapheng waterfall is very impressive natural wonderful considered as South East Asia biggest waterfall. Fun fact: The existence of the waterfall is the main reason why the Mekong river is not navigable by ship from China downstream into the South. Afterwards, we will take a van driving back and transfer to your hotel in Pakse (Arriving around 17:30 pm).
