08:30 – 11:00 AM : Pakse Departure to Khone Phapheng Falls

Gather at the Green Paradise Pakse office by 08:30 AM or enjoy a convenient morning pick-up right from your accommodation on our way south. Board the shared air-conditioned minivan for a smooth 2-hour drive down Highway AH13. Arriving at Nakasang village, we switch over to a local Tuk-Tuk to travel directly into the Khone Phapheng Waterfall Park. Marvel at the sheer force of the "Pearl of the Mekong," widely recognized as the largest waterfall system in Southeast Asia by volume.

11:00 AM – 13:30 PM : Boat Ferry & Free Lunch Break

At 12:30 PM, we return by local Tuk-Tuk to Nakasang village to board a traditional wooden longtail boat. Cruise across the open waters of the Mekong River straight onto the islands of Don Det or Don Khone. From 12:45 PM to 13:30 PM, enjoy a lunch break at your own expense. Choose from a wide array of local waterfront restaurants serving everything from traditional Lao and Thai treats to western favorites like homemade pastas, schnitzels, and salads.

13:30 – 15:30 PM : Self-Guided Island Cycling & Sightseeing

Mount your selected mountain bicycle at the local island office and set off with a provided navigation map. The immaculate main hard-top roads make cycling safe and easy, while unpaved side trails remain fully accessible to reach hidden lookouts like the Lipphi Waterfall complex. If you prefer to sit back and chill rather than pedal, we can easily arrange a local chauffeured "Samlo" or "Tuk-Tuk" vehicle to guide you around the island highlights instead.
