Morning Tour Itinerary (8:30 AM – 13:00 PM)
8:30 – 9:00 AM — Pick Up
Pick-up at your hotel or guesthouse, followed by a briefing on the excursion program and safety.
9:15 – 9:40 AM — Boat Trip to Done Sang
Board a traditional wooden boat and cruise between the islands to Done Sang, watching river life unfold around you.
9:40 – 10:15 AM — Traditional Fishing
Learn how to fish using traditional fishing tools alongside local fishermen. Try casting nets and traps the way islanders have done for generations.

10:15 – 10:35 AM — Boat Trip to Done Loppardee
Continue by boat to Done Loppardee, one of the quieter less visited islands.
10:35 – 11:20 AM — Village Life & Religion
Learn about the traditional way of life and Buddhism on the island. Visit the local temple and meet community members.

11:20 – 11:50 AM — Cooking & Crafts
Roll up your sleeves for a hands-on session:
- Make a traditional fishing net
- Cook sticky rice in bamboo
- Prepare rice crackers and rice baskets
- Sample Lao whisky made by the host family
Cooking with local families
11:50 PM – 13:00 PM — Traditional Lunch
Enjoy a traditional local lunch: grilled fish, papaya salad, and sticky rice. Vegetarian options available with advance notice.
Walk back to the boat for transfer to Don Det, Don Khone, or Nakasang.

Afternoon Tour Itinerary (2:30 PM – 18:30 PM)
The afternoon tour follows the same route in reverse, ending with a magical sunset boat trip back to Don Det and a drink by the river.

- 13:15 PM — Boat to Done Loppardee
- 14:00 PM — Village life and religion
- 14:30 PM — Cooking, crafts and Lao whisky
- 15:15 PM — Travel to Done Sang
- 15:35 PM — Traditional fishing
- 16:35 PM — Sunset boat trip to Don Det with a drink
- 18:00 PM — Transfer back to hotel
